Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country singer and songwriter. After the release of two singles as well as an album called Satisfied in 2007 she formed a band named Pistol Annies with Angaleena Presley as well as Miranda Lambert and released her 2nd album titled Like a Rose in 2013. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake Shelton in 2015. In 2015, she came out with The Blade. This album has earned her fame and acclaim. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager of Riverside Illinois. Riverside Illinois and has over fifteen years of experience in the public sector, including almost five years as the the Deputy City Manager for Iowa City. The current Assistant Village Manager's responsibilities include the management of Community Development and Building Department, coordinating grants and completion of special projects. Ashley's role at Riverside is to assist with the day-to-day operation of village services, and to implement the strategy laid out by elected officials. Ashley has held a variety of roles previously, such as municipal planning, government communications collective bargaining for the budgeting of personnel and focusing on climate change initiatives. Due to her engagement in the national community and working in communities with populations ranging Ashley has gained insight into the many complexities and differences with the way public institutions work. Ashley's training focuses on contemporary methods of leadership and management in the public sector through the perspective of a seasoned professional. As well as providing the context for present as well as future leaders Ashley focuses on the necessity of adapting today's strategic and ethical decision-making for addressing the challenges ahead and make use of opportunities.
